Development of static and dynamic websites starting from concepts realized in Illustrator or Photoshop by graphic designers.
For each site the theme was realized in order to fulfil the customers’ needs and expectations. Subsequent to a first analysis and a study of the contents’ design, new back- end features were developed, such as new types of posts, new categories, multilingual translations and scripts to communicate with the management system of the client’s company.
These sites were specially developed in order to be responsive and visible on different devices thanks to CSS Media Queries.
In collaboration with external consulting firms, SEO interventions allowed to increase the site visibility on the web and improve the monitoring of the statistics in terms of visits. The web application code was modified to meet the requirements of the agency.
Creation of e-commerce systems with the help of the open-source CMS Prestashop.
Starting from concepts realized by graphic designers, I created the dynamic pages of each section of the site: from the profile management to the order confirmation email. I also developed additional custom modules to facilitate the back-office management of the shop administrator.
Some of these e-commerce websites are linked to the company warehouse management system through scripts; in this way, the orders are downloaded and the available quantities of each product are automatically recorded by the system.
In collaboration with external consulting agencies, I undertook SEO activities to monitor the user’s behaviour and perform remarketing actions. The CMS offers multilingual options, which have been activated and configured in some shops. Beside the development process and the study of the concept with the designers, I was also in charge of training the customer in the placement of the new items and the configuration of the base settings of the shop.
Gestionalino is a management system designed and developed for all those associations that need to manage people, events and payments. It is a web-based application allowing to get information on every device through an annual subscription. With Gestionalino you can manage personal data by classifying them into families or groups.
Event management is the core feature: after the creation of the event, you can define its structure by adding activities and setting their prices; in this way, upon registration, the final price will be automatically quoted.
Thanks to a database of personal details, you can also subscribe a precise person to a specific event or to one of its activities. As far as payments are concerned, the system automatically generates a receipt, which will be provided to the person concerned.
The economic report can be exported in CSV and easily imported in your own accounting management system. The application was developed on a private MVC framework in team with designers and other developers.
To help the user in the back-office management and to re-use some features in other systems, I developed some modules and plug-ins for CMS Wordpress and CMS Prestashop.
To be more precise, as far as Prestashop is concerned, I developed the following modules:
- Credit Card Payments: a module linked to the Payment Gateway of Consorzio Triveneto, an Italian bank system. On back-office, the user sets the credentials and on front-end the module automatically appears on the payment hook.
- Print Information: a module allowing to show a table for a specific product reporting the expiration date of the selected order and its expected shipping date.
- Size Information: a module allowing to add an image and a table with sizes and measures in centimetres, which is shown under the product.
